


Ruddy’s Plumbing & Heating is a soon to be launched, female-founded plumbing company with a mission to make the trade more inclusive and approachable, not just as a service, but also as a career path for women and the LGBTQ+ community. The aim was to challenge traditional perceptions of the industry through thoughtful, elevated branding.
I collaborated closely with the founder throughout the creative process, beginning with in-depth conversations around the brand’s values, tone, and visual aspirations. While there was a desire to reflect its inclusive and female-led origins, we ultimately decided to take a more subtle approach and steer away from anything overt. Instead, the focus was on developing a visual identity that felt refined, modern, and quietly confident.
The final branding combines clean typography with a teal toned colour palette inspired by oceans and open skies—evoking clarity, calm, and professionalism with a tie to plumbing. The logo was designed to be both versatile and memorable, communicating trust and sophistication while gently softening the more industrial associations often tied to the plumbing trade.
