The work on this page showcases my time as the Content Creation and Social Media Officer at the climate charity, Possible. I managed the social media channels and created video and graphics content for socials, campaigns and events.
You can find more examples of my work on Possible's social media channels linked below, between September 2022 and October 2024.
(Disclosure: did not design the Possible or Fixing Factory logo)
A recent project I undertook in order to practice my illustration technique can be seen to the right. We needed to build on a group graphics of electrical items for one of the organisations campaigns, The Fixing Factory. The Fixing Factory takes broken electrical items and teaches the local community how to repair them in order to reduce e-waste. I took the graphics created by the graphic designer (on the far right) and created my own in his style (in the slide show).

Video Production Process
This video was created as part of the 'Clean Cars for Carers' campaign, and it specifically targeting funders. I enjoyed the opportunity to craft a video that shared personal stories while also aiming to influence both the audience and funders to support sustainable initiatives. It was a rewarding experience to produce a longer-form piece, allowing for a deeper exploration of the topic, giving the carers more space to voice their opinions.

Possible campaigners would often do radio interviews. I would turn these into engaging content for socials. I saw this style of video trending so decided to emulate it. Focusing on the subtitles but providing a topical background makes the interview easy to follow and allows the viewer to watch without sound if they wish. I cut it so that the key message is at the forefront, almost acting as preview to catch the viewers attention.

Possible get a large amount of amount of press coverage which created great opportunities for social media content. This video performed especially well on Instagram and TikTok, likely due to the controversial topic of ULEZ and its attention-grabbing title. I typically aim to produce these videos quickly to capitalise on the freshness of the interview and maintain relevance in the conversation. I aim to include subtitles in all videos to improve accessibility to all.

One of my favourite projects was working on this campaign 'Cabbies for Climate'. I was able to take this video from the planning stage to finish, meeting the cab drivers, interviewing them and portraying their opinions towards going electric, as well as their climate concerns. I not only enjoyed creating the video but also learning about the challenges that come with transitioning to electric such as costs of both the vehicle and charging it.

I would often make less pre-meditated videos that had to be shot and edited as quickly as possible. In this instance, we needed to react to the governments budget announcement. I am very comfortable speaking on camera without much notice and make the best out my surroundings in order to shoot. I try not to be overly perfectionist about the editing process in these cases but to deliver to the best of my ability within the timeframe allocated.

This type of video required more planning, beginning with writing a script and ensuring the relevant campaigner was available to deliver the message. I would set up the camera, lighting, and microphone, then prepare the spokesperson to deliver the script. After the shoot, I would edit the video, adding background music, subtitles, and free stock or existing footage to enhance the final piece. It was often challenging to find suitable B-roll but I enjoyed the task.
